One week before the River Edge 5K, Bergen Runners met at the Cherry Hill School to practice the 5k route together. Two club photographers Sam Liu and SH also came for the practice shooting to find the perfect picture spots. Many beginner runners surprised themselves with new PR by running this race-like run and were very excited about the possibility of logging a faster time a week later.

Hot red bean soup, sweet congee, pumpkin pie were served in the school parking lot to warm up runners on this chilly April morning. Food always brings people together, especial after a hard run!
